GHSA 750 Spring-Loaded AC-LVDT Position Sensors
The Macro Sensors GHSA 750 Series of 3/4 inch diameter Spring-Loaded AC-LVDTs are designed for a wide range of position measurement and dimensional gaging applications. These rugged hermetically sealed sensors are constructed entirely of stainless steel and intended for general industrial use. The coil windings are sealed against hostile environments to IEC standard IP-68. Electrical termination is through a sealed axial connector; the mating connector plug is supplied with a unit. GSA 750 Spring-Loaded AC-LVDT Position Sensors

CD 375 Miniature LVDT Position Sensors
Macro Sensors’ CD 375 Series of 3/8 inch (9.5 mm) diameter AC-operated LVDTs are small size contactless linear position sensors for both OEM and end user applications. They are available in full scale measuring ranges from ±0.025 inch (±0.63 mm) to ±2.0 inches (±50 mm) and offer 50% larger core-to-bore radial clearance, 0.012 inches (0.3 mm), than similar size units from competitors. PR 812 General Purpose LVDT Position Sensors

Common uses of LVDTs in R&D and Test Applications

  1. Spring loaded hermetically sealed LVDTs used in high vacuum environment measuring mirror alignment angle.
  2. Free core LVDT that is hermetically sealed used in high pressure, 5000 psi using specially designed spring loaded LVDT +/- 1.00” used for feed back position of cylinder.
  3. Hermetically sealed spring loaded LVDT utilized for it's internal hermetically sealed attributes holding pressure (350 psi) while making expansion measurements.
  4. Spring loaded LVDT used on tensile testing machine to measure material as it is compressed.
  5. Spring loaed LVDT used for testing passenger automotive fuel tank, to measure expansion and contraction displacements during fatigue testing.
  6. Hermetically sealed LVDT used for detecting the position of fuel valve in testing gas turbines (hazardous location).
  7. Spring loaded LVDT used to measure the movement in two axis Radial / axial expansion and contraction of soil samples.
  8. Hermetically sealed LVDT use for testing dry cell batteries for maximum radial and axial crush displacement before failure
